The 39-year-old Voice coach has bought the Tishomingo, Oklahoma, property, explaining that he has “a plan brewing” for the location.
“As a resident of Tishomingo I’m very sorry that the Pink Pistol has decided to move its operations out of the area,” Shelton told Entertainment Tonight. “We all, as a community, appreciate everything it has done for our town. As for the actual properties left behind… I was offered the opportunity to buy them, and I have a plan brewing.”
Upon hearing the news, fans quickly took to Twitter, asking Shelton if his “brewing” plans might include a bar.

The Pink Pistol will remain open in Lindale, Texas, moving to a larger new flagship location in the beginning of August.
“It feels full circle to have everything under one ‘roof’ basically where it all began in my hometown of Lindale,” the 32-year-old “Little Red Wagon” singer said in a statement. “Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home.”
