CCTV’s Wang Hui reports.Chinese Premier Li Keqiang’s speech at the opening ceremony was one of the most significant occasions of this year’s event, with distinctive meaning.His remarks injected confidence into the Asia-Pacific region, which since last year has been hit by slowing growth, plunging commodity prices and depreciation of local currencies.Premier Li urged Asian countries to find ways to work through the difficulties together. He also emphasized the importance of innovation for the regional economy.The Boao Forum set a stage for different parties to introduce them to the world, and to seek friendship and cooperation partners.2,000 guests from the political, business, academia, media and other communities attended the event this year. With the guests being from such diverse backgrounds, with such varying expertise, the event will surely give all parties more clarity on the future.
