The Hurricanes already welcomed five members of their 2016 signing class as early enrollees.

Linebackers Shaquille Quarterman, Mike Pinckney and Zach McCloud, along with quarterback Jack Allison and defensive end Patrick Bethel all went through spring practice a few weeks ago.

Now a few more members of that class are on campus taking classes through Miami’s first summer session – and getting in conditioning workouts with their new teammates.

The Hurricanes announced the arrival of 10 players late Sunday night including signees Michael Irvin II, a tight end out of St. Thomas Aquinas; Ahmmon Richards, a wide receiver out of Wellington High; Travis Homer, a running back from Oxbridge High in West Palm Beach; safety Romeo Finley of Niceville; defensive end Joseph Jackson of Gulliver Prep and offensive lineman Tre Johnson of Orlando First Academy. You can read lots more about them here, in some of our coverage from National Signing Day earlier this year and here, where you can watch video and get bio information on all of Miami’s 2016 signees and commitments.
