The garment, which she teamed with a pair of black heels, allowed Elizabeth to show off her lithe limbs.
With the exception of a delicate gold bracelet, she forwent accessories for a reserved finish. Her golden locks tumbled over her shoulders from a simple middle parting, and she sported classily applied make-up.
The sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley was in fine spirits, smiling and acting playfully on the red carpet for the star-studded photocall.

Luxe up your look in red velvet like Elizabeth Olsen
Elizabeth Olsen may not be as famous as her older sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley but she’s definitely just as stylish. Good taste must run in the family.
Lizzie is in London to promote her new movie Captain America: Civil War and she proved her fashion credentials once again at the cast photo call this afternoon, wearing a cute little number by Valentino.
From the AW16 collection this dress didn’t appear on the brand’s catwalk but velvet was a recurring theme for the label’s Creative Directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli so expect to see more of this luxury material filtering down to the high street.
And the good news for those who want to recreate Elizabeth’s look straight away is there are already some gorgeous burgundy options available now. Check out our affordable picks from Asos, NastyGal and Shoptiques below.

And she was warmly greeted by Robert Downey Jr, who took her by the shoulders and flashed a bright smile.

The film is the sequel to 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger and 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
The plot centres around political interference in the Avengers’ activities, causing a rift between former allies Captain America and Iron Man.
New government laws being introduced to regulate superheros divide the entire team into two factions; one lead by Captain America who resists it, the other by Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man, who wants to enforce it.
The adrenaline pumping trailer for the latest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe shows the two former friends beating each other up in a mouth-watering matchup.
It also shows where their team-mates ally themselves: The Winter Solder, The Scarlett Witch, The Falcon and Hawkeye line-up behind the Cap, while Black Widow, War Machine and The Vision unite behind Tony Stark – as does newcomer Black Panther.
Captain America: Civil War is set to begin its international release on April 27, with a release in North America on May 6.
