FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas – Former Iowa State University head football coach Paul Rhoads has a new job after being fired from his job as the top Cyclone in November.
On Wednesday, the University of Arkansas announced that Rhoads will join the school’s football program as defensive back’s coach.
“Paul has had a long-standing reputation as a great teacher and recruiter even prior to his years of experience as a coordinator and head coach,” said head football coach Bret Bielema. “He instantly brings years of experience to our defensive staff room and has coached the secondary and defensive backs to the highest levels of success.”
Rhoads spent seven seasons in Ames. He was fired in November after six consecutive losing seasons.
