The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Academy has announced its keynote speaker line-up for the 4th annual Supply Chain Finance Summit in Singapore on 9-10 March.
The summit will feature founders, executives and industry personalities including Charles Bryant, Euro Banking Association; John Bugeja, Trade Advisory Network; Roberto Capodieci, Open Trade Docs; Bevan Davies, essDOCS; Holger Frank, UniCredit; Vivek Gupta and Hari Janakiraman from ANZ; Angela Koll, Commerzbank; Vinod Madhavan, Standard Bank; Sabine Oudart, Asian Development Bank; Billy Quinn, Codix; Roque Damacela and George Nast from Standard Chartered Bank; Alexander R. Malaket, OPUS Advisory Services International Inc. and Co-chair of the ICC Academy’s Academic Committee, and Kah Chye Tan, KC Tan Company and Co-founder of the ICC Academy.
“We have gathered some of the most influential leaders and thinkers in the fields of banking, finance, financial technology (fintech), and trade to provide their invaluable insights through panel discussions and interactive case studies,” said Mr Malaket. “Indeed, the know-how featured at this summit certainly reflects the knowledge of the ICC Academy – including its courses and curriculum, which are developed and moderated by industry-leading experts and practitioners.”
Gathering over 50 speakers and 150 participants across the region, this year’s summit will focus on topics such as supply chain financing in Asia, the global growth of supply chain finance, the importance of cash flow and financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and strategic suppliers, the transforming role of fintech in finance, and the market response to increasing regional usage of the renminbi, among other topics.
Moreover, summit participants will have a unique first-hand opportunity to discuss the results of a cross-industry initiative to provide globally standardized supply chain finance terminology, see a “live” demonstration of the ICC Academy, participate in case studies, and network with other like-minded professionals. Additionally, ICC Academy members can earn up to 15 professional development credits (PDCs) towards any ICC Academy certification for attending.
