Sharon and Ozzy’s split was revealed in early May. Married for 33 years, the former power couple has three kids together: Aimee Osbourne, 32; Kelly Osbourne, 31; and Jack Osbourne, 30. When Sharon first addressed the split on The Talk May 10, she put on a brave face. “I think I’m the strongest I’ve ever been right now, with everything that’s going on in my life,” she said. “I feel it.”

At the time, Sharon said little regarding the rumors surrounding Ozzy and Michelle. “I’ve been avoiding looking at any pictures, reading anything. I know what’s going on. I don’t need to read about it and see about it because it’s like putting salt on a wound,” she said. “I don’t need to.”

Sharon added that her future felt more uncertain than ever. “I have no idea what I am going to be doing for the rest of my life. I don’t know where I am going, who I’m going with,” she said. “I just need time to think and really think about myself and what I really want for the rest of my life because this is really like getting to the last chapter of the book. I really want to think about it very carefully where I want to go. When I know what I’m going to do for the rest of my life, who I’m going to be spending my life with and what I want to do with itβ€”you will be the first to know. I have to follow my heart and I don’t even know what my heart is telling me right now.”

Co-host Aisha Tyler, whose own divorce news broke in April, empathized with Sharon’s situation. “I think it’s OK to give yourself some space to be human as well,” she said. “That’s a part of being alive. And you can’t go through it without those moments where you do break down a little bit. I think you need a little bit of both.” The following day, Sharon returned to the show and confessed she was “overwhelmed” by the support she had received on social media.

Two days later, Sharon was by Ozzy’s side at a press conference in L.A. to announce the merging of Ozzfest and Slipknot‘s Knotfest. “Our wives have been very important to us,” Ozzy exclusively told E! NewsWill Marfuggi. Asked if Sharon’s “still the boss,” he said, “Oh, yeah.” As for whether Sharon will continue to manage his career, Ozzy responded, “Oh, yeah. I hope so.”

Sharon has plans for Ozzy, too. “I’d want to see him go out and do his own farewell tour with his own music, because they are two totally different music genres, really,” she told E! News. “He’s got his own fans and [Black] Sabbath, they’ve got their own fans, so I would like to see him go out and say farewell to his fans.”
