The Oregon Ducks have added another graduate transfer to their football team, announcing Wednesday that offensive lineman Zac Morgan is headed to Eugene from the University of Dayton.
Morgan, a 6-foot-7, 280-pound left tackle from Mokena, Illinois, earned first-team all-Pioneer Football League honors during the 2015 season for the Flyers of the Football Championship Subdivision. Dayton went 10-2 in 2015, losing to Western Illinois in the first round of the FCS playoffs.
A finance major, Morgan also started all 11 of Dayton’s games at right tackle during his redshirt sophomore season in 2014, plus three games as a redshirt freshman in 2013.
Morgan joins graduate transfer quarterback Dakota Prukop (Montana State) on the Ducks’ 2016 roster after grad transfer quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. (Eastern Washington) and center Matt Hegarty (Notre Dame) started for the Ducks in 2015.
