The latest on the investigation into the singer’s death, his estate and tributes:

6:24 p.m. ET:  A probate hearing about Prince’s estate is expected to start Monday at 8:30 a.m. CT/9:30 a.m. ET in Carver County (Minn.) District Court. The date was set after Prince’s sister, Tyka Nelson, filed a petition last Tuesday to request the appointment of a special administrator to secure and preserve the estate until a “personal representative,” or executor, is appointed by the court. On Wednesday, Bremer Trust, National Association was appointed by the court. The Des Moines Register’s Grant Rodgers will be covering the estate hearing in Minnesota for the USA TODAY Network.

1:12 p.m. ET:

Before stormy conditions halted the performances at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on Saturday night, familiar acts were able to pay homage to Prince, reports Alex Rawls for USA TODAY. Stevie Wonder, who was deeply apologetic to the crowd gathered in front of the stage where he was set to perform, took a megaphone to lead everyone in a rendition of Purple Rain. Other acts who were able to pay tribute earlier in the day: Big Freedia and My Morning Jacket.

11:30 a.m. ET: Prince began wanting meals that were easier to digest and was fighting off waves of sore throats and frequent upset stomachs, the musician’s personal chef told The Associated Press.

Ray Roberts, who cooked for Prince nearly every day for almost three years, said in an interview that wasn’t the man he saw nearly every night, “not even a hint. Not at all.” But Roberts did start noticing changes in Prince’s diet — he was eating less and drinking less water, and looked like he was losing weight.

“It felt like he wasn’t himself probably the last month or two,” Roberts said. “I think he was just struggling with being sick a lot.”

Prince, who didn’t eat meat, normally loved foods like roasted beets and minestrone soup with a harissa chermoula, an herb sauce from North Africa. In recent months, Roberts said, as Prince would have sore throats or seem like he wasn’t feeling well for “weeks at a time,” he would prefer smoothies and fresh juices to soothe his throat or stomach.

Roberts last saw Prince the evening before the musician was found dead at Paisley Park. He cooked Prince a roasted red pepper bisque with a kale and spring vegetable salad. But Prince never ate it. When he returned to the musician’s studio home for his memorial service a few days later, Roberts found it in the refrigerator — just as he’d left it.

10:30 a.m. ET:  Minneapolis’ Sabathani Community Center was the scene of a large Prince tribute Saturday night, reports the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The Sabathani site had special resonance because it once housed Bryant Junior High, where Prince went to middle school, the paper said. Rapper Flava Flav made a special appearance. He told the crowd: “We lost a very special music legend…God makes no mistakes. Death is a part of life that we have no control over…Prince is going to live on forever. He’s going to be with us forever.”

10 a.m. ET: USA TODAY’s Cara Kelly caught up with BET CEO Debra Lee at a White House Correspondents’ Dinner weekend party, and she recounted a touching White House tribute to Prince Friday night. At the International Jazz Day All-Star Global Concert, she said Herbie Hancock and Aretha Franklin performed Purple Rain. “They turned the colors of the stage purple. It was just so touching. You know, I knew Prince personally and it was very touching. He would’ve been very pleased,” Lee said.  See the performance here.
