Maize 14, Blue 13: O’Korn leads the Blue team on a touchdown drive, which included a 25-yard pass to Shane Morris, but the two-point try for the win was denied on the game’s final play:

1:40 — Maize 14, Blue 7: Wilton Speight pieces together another nice series and pieces together an 11-play, 70-yard drive. The quarterback caps the drive with a 6-yard touchdown run following a great play fake at the line of scrimmage. Ty Isaac ripped off his second big run of the day in the drive, busting loose for a 30-yard gain.

Blue 7, Maize 7:

Michigan June enrollees were introduced during tonight’s halftime. Rashan Gary’s name was the finale following Quinn Nordin, Ron Johnson, Chris Evans, Devin Gil, Brad Hawkins, Lavert Hill, Khaleke Hudson, Nate Johnson, Josh Metellus, Michael Onwenu, Josh Uche, David Long and Kekoa Crawford.

5:27 — Blue 7, Maize 7: Behind Wilton Speight, it didn’t take long for the Maize Team to answer. Speight found Jake Butt for a 13-yard touchdown pass to cap a strong opening drive for the unit. Ty Isaac ripped off a 28-yard run, looking lighter and quicker than the quarterback seen last season.

0:48 — Blue 7, Maize 0: On a trick play featuring a pitch from John O’Korn to Shane Morris and a 9-yard pass to a wide open Drake Johnson, tonight’s spring game has its first score. The play capped a 15-play, 70-yard opening drive that lasted 7:12, eating most of the first quarter. O’Korn lined up as the quarterback for the Blue Team, while Morris took a handful of snaps and lined up at wideout at one point.

15:00 — Tonight’s game kicked off at roughly 6:15 p.m.
