Cordell Broadus has met with UCLA football coach Jim Mora and has been given permission to rejoin the football team after quitting back in August … UCLA confirms.
TMZ Sports spoke with Associate Athletic Director Josh Rupprecht who tells us:
“Cordell spoke with Coach Mora, indicating he missed the game and wanted to earn his way back on the team as a walk-on.”
“He will indeed be participating in Spring practice, which begins later this month on March 29, as a walk-on.”
The 19-year-old wide receiver was one of the top high school recruits in the country and initially accepted a football scholarship to UCLA. He famously quit the team in August to pursue other passions in his life including movie making.
