They won’t know who they’re facing until Monday, but the Hurricanes do know this – they’ll once again open their NCAA Tournament run on their home field at Mark Light Stadium.

Though Miami will learn on Monday who its regional opponents will be – and whether the Hurricanes earned one of those top eight coveted national seeds that would give them the chance to host a super regional if they advance – the Hurricanes learned Sunday night they’d host a regional on their home field for the 27th time in program history.

It’s the third straight year they’ll begin their tournament run at home.

The full field of 64 teams – as well as the national seeds – will be unveiled at noon Monday. But the regional hosts learned part of their postseason fate late Sunday as the NCAA revealed the list of host sites on Twitter.
